Monitoring, evaluating and learning for child-friendly accountability
The ChildFund Alliance is a network of 12 child-focused development organizations working in 70 countries around the world. Child-friendly accountability is a core strategic goal for the alliance. The Child-friendly Accountability Methodloigly (CFAM) was designed by ChildFUnd and was implemented in 11 countries: Burkina Faso, Paragua, India, Ghana, Uganda, Mexico, El Salvador, Nepal, South Korea, Tanzania, and Vietnam.
A team from One South supported the programme to develop a monitoring, evaluation and learning framework which will be used as a resource for future programmes utilizing the methodology. The proposed evaluation framework relies on the most significant change approach and adopts child-led elements in line with the ethos of the broader methodology.
