Carl W. Henn, MPH

Carl Henn is a senior international health and development professional, with over 30 years of experience, including 15 years in Africa. He has in-depth experience in HIV/AIDS, with the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Carl has done field-work in malaria with the Presidential Malaria Initiative (PMI). He has also worked in child survival, nutrition, family planning and reproductive health, and maternal and child health. Carl has extensive management and leadership experience within USAID and with NGOs in proposal design and management of large, complex health projects and in building teams. Carl is currently Director of the HIV/AIDS Twinning Center. Carl has previously worked with Plan International, USAID, Save the Children, Opportunity International, CRS, and the Research Triangle Institute. He has worked in West, Southern, East, and North Africa.
